Doctrines of Faith
This Church strongly believes the following truths
God is self-existing and everlasting. He created the heavens and the earth (including everything in it and mankind). God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit constitutes the Trinity, the only God.
Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. The Word became flesh, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and was born by the Virgin Mary. He was crucified on the cross, shedding His blood for the redemption of man’s sin. He was resurrected to heaven and became the mediator between God and man.
The Holy Spirit is the Comforter of the believers. He convicts men of their sin and their needs for a Savior. He dwells in and abides with the believers and guides them to understand the truth. He equips believers for victorious living and service.
The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are all inspired by God. The Bible is the inerrant Word of God and the standard for the believer’s faith and life.
Man, who is created by God after His own image, is corrupted by sins. He can only be saved by faith (through grace) in the work of Christ for the forgiveness of sins. He is born again by the Holy Spirit into the kingdom of God.
Jesus Christ is the head of the Church. The Church is the body of Christ and is God’s family. All born-again believers are members of God’s family.
Jesus Christ will come again to establish the eternal kingdom. All men will be resurrected. The believers will be with God forever and the non-believers will face eternal condemnation.
