Alex accepted Jesus Christ on June 15, 1991 and was baptized on June 30, 1991 at the Stillwater Chinese Baptist Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Under the leadership of the Pastor Chao, he learned to follow Christ as His disciples. With the grace of God, he has been continuously trained and equipped to serve in the church for many years. When CCCFC church planting was embarked in 2000, he devoted himself to serving with many faithful coworkers in various roles in the church. For over 20 years, he served as cell group leader, deacon, chair of the deacon board, and member in pastoral search committee, as well as participated in local evangelism and overseas mission ministries with coworkers and pastoral staff. Furthermore, Alex also served in a local CCF Bible study class for 12 years including 5 years as teaching leader. He graduated from DTS with a MBTS degree in 2022. Currently he and his wife serve in the Living Water Student Fellowship at UT Dallas. His wife Wan-chieh serve in the Sisters Fellowship and Living Water Student Fellowship. They raised three sons: Daniel, Andrew, and Isaac.
